THE CABANA BOYS

Every good idea starts somewhere. Ours started by a pool.

CABANA BUOY was founded by Christian Cox, a former Ford model, fashion designer, and longtime Pilates instructor and studio owner whose career has always lived somewhere at the intersection of design, movement, bodies and culture.

Having lived in California, New York, Australia, the Bahamas and now Austin, Christian spent years traveling through a world of fashion, hotels, beach clubs, members’ clubs and more pool parties than anyone reasonably needs to attend.

And somewhere along the way, a fairly obvious question emerged:

Where are all the Cabana Boys?

Pools had flamingos. Swans. Unicorns. Giant fruit. Even slices of pizza.

But no Cabana Boy.

So CABANA BUOY created one.

MEET RICHARD.

He’s our first Cabana Boy.

At 6'2", Richard is handsome, low-maintenance, always willing to hold your drink, never talks back, and perfectly happy to let you lay all over him.

And all you have to do is blow.

But Richard is just the beginning.

More Cabana Boys are already on their way, each with his own name, look and personality, along with new floats, apparel, accessories and everything you need for a slightly less respectable day by the pool.

CABANA BUOY was created around one simple idea:

Pool culture should be sexy, funny, beautifully designed and never take itself too seriously.

CABANA BUOY is made for everyone.

Women. Men. LGBTQ+. Straight. Somewhere in between. None of the above. We don’t particularly care who you go home with.

We just hope you end up in the pool.
